I only realized that this great local annual event was scheduled for July 10th a few days ago but the organizers, after some persuading were nice enough to let me secure a 10' x 20' booth in the local craft vendor section.
Packed up a variety of my locally found lures which have been cleaned and re-hooked, some of the Ed the Diver merchandise with Shirts and Stickers now available, and then examples of the items people have lost/thrown into our rivers and lakes and brought them all out to the booth to show festival attendees.
One of the best parts of attending events like this is seeing all the kids and their fascination with all the lures, and their fishing and diving questions.
Also, there are always the "hey that was my lure" jokes from people who have lost tackle.
It was great to see so many old friends and make some new one yesterday.
The evening fireworks to close the event are something to see too!
