- Tlusty Quality Beverage was a regional soda bottling company located in Rib Lake, Wisconsin, that operated from the early 1900s through at least the late 1950s. Today, the brand is highly sought after by bottle collectors and historians for its unique mid-century marketing and distinct Applied Color Label (ACL) technology, which featured painted-on enamel graphics directly on clear glass rather than paper labels. These collectible 7-ounce and 10-ounce bottles—with well-documented versions explicitly dated to 1951 and 1957—are most famous for the catchy slogan printed on the back: "Treasure the Pleasure of Being Thirsty." Certain rare variants even featured an iconic picture label of a child's face. True to the distribution methods of the era, these beverages were delivered locally to neighborhood grocery stores and taverns in stenciled wooden crates proudly marked "Rib Lake, Wis."
