-Did you know that Pulaski, Wisconsin was once home to its very own historic soft drink manufacturer? Operating for nearly seven decades between 1909 and 1978, the Pulaski Soda Works was founded by Vincent Kruger at 127 S. Wisconsin Ave. The company utilized a pure, on-site artesian spring to craft finely carbonated sodas that stocked the shelves of regional grocery stores and local taverns. Today, the glass bottles left behind offer local historians and vintage collectors a fascinating physical timeline of 20th-century bottling technology. For instance, their early 1920s pieces featured a distinct green or aqua hue, using 7-ounce Automatic Bottle Machine glass with a crown cap finish, heavily embossed with "PULASKI SODA WORKS PULASKI WIS" right on the body.
