- Jahnke’s Like It Beverages was a mid-century independent soda brand from Green Bay, Wisconsin, that remains highly prized by vintage bottle collectors today. Active from the 1940s through the 1970s, this regional bottler utilized Applied Color Label (ACL) glass bottles, featuring vibrant red-and-white or green-and-white enamel lettering baked directly onto the glass. These distinct, collectible bottles prominently displayed the brand name alongside its definitive "Tops for Taste" quality slogan. As an independent brand operating prior to the late-1980s industry shift toward uniform aluminum cans and plastic packaging, authentic Jahnke’s glass bottles survive as sought-after pieces of Wisconsin soda history!
