- The Shawano Specialty Co. was a historic brewing and independent bottling operation located in Shawano, Wisconsin, that operated from 1920 to 1933. Because its entire existence spanned the United States' Prohibition era (1920–1933), the company survived by bottling non-alcoholic beverages. This unique history makes their surviving glass vessels highly sought after by regional bottle collectors and "breweriana" historians.
