- Beautiful & Unique "The Edwin M. Knowles China Company Creamer"

- Bottom says: "Vitreous Edwin M. Knowles China Co."

- The entire top of the creamer is chipped in numerous places & one small chip on the bottom; there are no cracks on this piece; it help up well after being underwater all these years. This piece is definitely a conversation starter, it's unique and not a very common piece. Makes a great decorative piece to hold flowers or a plant! It's a one of a kind since we found it while cleaning a Wisconsin waterway!

-The Edwin M. Knowles China Company was a prominent American pottery manufacturer that operated from 1900 to 1963, specializing in high-quality semi-vitreous dinnerware, kitchenware, and accessories. Founded by Edwin M. Knowles in Chester, West Virginia, the company expanded to a second major plant in Newell, West Virginia, in 1913, eventually consolidating all operations there by the early 1930s. Edwin’s father, Isaac Watt Knowles, was a pioneer in the American pottery industry and co-founded Knowles, Taylor, and Knowles (KTK), which is a separate company and should not be confused with the Edwin M. Knowles China Co.
