- Calling all vintage glassware collectors! Take a step back in time with the beautiful Vintage Imperial Glass Old Williamsburg Clear Relish Dish. This elegant piece actually began its journey in the early 1900s as the "Puritan" pattern by A.H. Heisey & Company, designed to capture the classic American Colonial Revival style. Heisey later renamed it "Old Williamsburg" to honor its traditional aesthetic. When Heisey closed in 1957, the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio, bought their original molds and reintroduced the line in 1959. It quickly became a staple for formal gatherings and holiday dining tables until it was officially discontinued in 1982. As a true symbol of mid-century hospitality, these clear relish dishes were once essential for serving pickles, olives, or nuts at every family gathering!
