There are some scratches throughout the bottle after being underwater all of these years; it just adds more character to this iconic piece of history! This stunning piece has a beautiful aqua colored hue to it & even has water bubbles in some parts of the glass!
- The Bessemer Bottling Works (also known in its later years as the Sanitary Bessemer Bottling Works) was a localized beverage producer operating in the city of Bessemer, located in the western Gogebic Range of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the company served the logging and iron mining communities of the region alongside rival local bottlers. Antique collectors and bottle-diggers frequently recover these thick glass artifacts from regional rivers like the Montreal River, where fishermen and laborers discarded them a century ago.
