- Gorgeous Antique Foley's Honey and Tar Glass Bottle with Aqua-Hue & Cork
- No chips, no cracks, bottle is in GREAT CONDITION, and it's definitely a conversation starter! There are some scratches throughout the bottle after being underwater all of these years; it just adds more character to this iconic piece of history! The cork is still in the bottle, too!
- The antique Foley's Honey and Tar Compound bottle is a classic piece of American patent medicine history, heavily traded by collectors for its striking aqua-hue blown glass, strong side embossments, and traditional cork-bore mouth. Produced by Foley & Co. of Chicago, Illinois, this iconic cough syrup was one of the most widely distributed proprietary remedies from the late 1800s through the mid-1960s!
- The business was rooted in the early work of John Foley in the 1870s, but it expanded rapidly when Dr. James B. Foley secured the manufacturing rights to the "Honey & Tar" formula in 1883
